The Lamar County Schools System has an endowment fund with CFCG, and the annual distribution from the fund is used to support the REACH Scholarship for students in Lamar County.

A grant from the Building a Better Barnesville-Lamar Fund helped provide the seed money to create the Boys and Girls Club of Barnesville.
