Community Foundation of Central Georgia, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID 58-2053465), so all gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. For each gift made to the Foundation, the donor will receive a gift acknowledgement letter for tax purposes.
Confirmed in Compliance with National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations
Participation in the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations® represents a community foundation’s commitment to go above and beyond federal and state law requirements to demonstrate accountability and excellence to communities, policymakers, and the public.
This accreditation program was created by community foundations for community foundations. It is peer-driven, voluntary, self-regulatory, and represents operational effectiveness to foster excellence in community philanthropy.
Community Foundation of Central Georgia was among the first community foundations in the nation to be confirmed in compliance with National Standards in 2006, and was reaccredited in January 2019.
