“After our mother died in 2005, we wanted to honor her in some way, but we didn’t know exactly what to do,” said Nancy Nations Davis, daughter of the late John and Nancy Nations.  “One of my brothers learned of the Community Foundation, and it just felt right.”  Mrs. Davis, her two brothers, and their 10 children serve as advisors to the fund.  “We’re excited that we can recommend the grants that honor our parents,” Mrs. Davis said. “And someday the great-grandchildren will be involved. We’re a close-knit family, so we like that.”
