Need a scholarship for college?
You’ve come to the right place!
The Community Foundation of Central Georgia has more than 40 scholarship funds established by our donors for students like YOU! Each scholarship fund has its own individual criteria and you could be eligible for more than one.
Scholarship applications open December 15.
Scholarship applications close on February 28 at 12:00 pm (noon).
How to apply for a scholarship.
Part 1: Create an account
To apply for any CFCG scholarships, all new applicants must first create an account in the Online Scholarship Portal. Click here to set up your account and begin your application process!
Part 2: Complete the Universal Application
Required Information for Your Application
- Basic Background Information
- Academic Information and Involvement
- Financial Aid Information: Please include details to be considered for need-based scholarships.
- Letter of Recommendation: Provide the email address of your recommender.
- High School or College Transcript
- Photo/Headshot: Please avoid selfies.
As you complete the application, it will adapt to your responses. After submitting Part 1, you will receive a confirmation page outlining the scholarship opportunities for which you qualify. Please note that you won’t be able to make changes to Part 1 unless you contact us at scholars@cfcga.org.
Part 3: See which scholarship match your profile
You may be asked to respond to a brief prompt or answer a few supplemental questions for each scholarship opportunity recommended to you. Please note that some opportunities will be submitted automatically, as they do not require additional responses.
Be mindful of deadlines and ensure that all materials are submitted on time. Don’t forget to check your dashboard to confirm whether your letter of recommendation has been uploaded. It is your responsibility to ensure that this letter is submitted by the deadline.
