NAP Foundation Scholarship Fund

Deadline: February 28th

Background

The NAP Foundation Scholarship Fund was established to honor the legacy of Adele and Homer L. Shipman, Jr. They both passed away early in life and left behind two sons who were under the age of 17.  The Shipmans grew up in Vidalia, GA. They taught their sons how to do household chores at an early age and therefore they learned to be independent children and adults. Mrs. Shipman was an outstanding high school basketball player and the homecoming queen. She was involved in school and then in the community during her short but well-lived life.
