Caleb
Anderson Scholarship Recipient
“My friends and family would probably describe me as calm natured, laid back, but not afraid to work.
I enjoy working with my hands and building things. I also have always loved troubleshooting problems.
I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering and focusing primarily on design.
If I could change one thing about my high school and college decisions it would be to study harder in high school because my lazy study habits have had a negative effect on me in college. I have had to re-learn how to study.
“The Anderson Scholarship has really helped me a lot. I am very grateful for it. Also, I like the way it was created and began. It started when two brothers that did not go to college, gave money back to Bibb County because they valued a college education.”
I enjoy math and solving problems so I wanted to put that passion to use in a career field. In ten years I hope to be a mechanical engineer. However if that doesn’t happen, I will become a tradesman like my parents.
