Macon Volunteer Clinic Endowment Fund
Macon Volunteer Clinic opened its doors in 2003 as a 501c3 nonprofit organization to provide health care to Macon-Bibb’s working poor population. The clinic was conceived by retired physician Chapin Henley, who believed that a volunteer clinic was crucial to closing the growing healthcare gaps in the community.
Over 200 volunteers contribute their time and talents to fulfilling the clinic’s mission. MVC physicians and other healthcare professionals volunteer their time and expertise to provide a full spectrum of healthcare services to meet patients’ needs. MVC patients are never charged for services. We rely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and a team of volunteers to keep the clinic running smoothly, as it has since opening in 2003.
Your donation to the Macon Volunteer Clinic Endowment Fund helps ensure that the Clinic will continue serving Macon’s medically underserved workforce in the years to come.
