Built in 1884 and restored and renovated through community support over the years, this historical 1,000-seat theater in downtown Macon remains the premier performing arts venue in Central Georgia. Every season, The Grand brings the very best in live, professional performing arts and entertainment to its stage through its highly popular Broadway Series of nationally touring productions. The Grand Opera House offers central Georgia a wide-variety of performances, including original vaudeville shows, Broadway musicals, The Nutcracker, the Macon Civic Club Annual Review, and The Macon Symphony Orchestra.
