Grand Opera House Endowment Fund

Built in 1884 and restored and renovated through community support over the years, this historical 1,000-seat theater in downtown Macon remains the premier performing arts venue in Central Georgia. Every season, The Grand brings the very best in live, professional performing arts and entertainment to its stage through its highly popular Broadway Series of nationally touring productions. The Grand Opera House offers central Georgia a wide-variety of performances, including original vaudeville shows, Broadway musicals, The Nutcracker, the Macon Civic Club Annual Review, and The Macon Symphony Orchestra. The Grand is operated by Mercer University on behalf of the citizens of Bibb County.

The fund to which you are making an online contribution will be charged a processing fee of 2.598% of the amount of your contribution plus $0.26 per transaction, which is the actual fee charged to CFCG by the processing vendor. This will not affect the amount of your tax deduction for this contribution. Your contribution will still be tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. If you do not want the fund to incur the fee, you may make your contribution by mailing a check to CFCG.
