The Community Foundation of Central Georgia has more than 40 scholarship funds established by our donors for students like YOU! Each scholarship fund has its own individual criteria and you could be eligible for more than one.

Applications for all of our scholarships are available through our online scholarship application portal. All scholarship applicants will need to create a new account before applying for any CFCG scholarships. Upon creating an account, you will be able to begin your application and be matched to scholarships for which you are eligible. You may save your work and continue it at a later time by logging in to the online portal. We encourage applicants to review the applicant tutorial prepared by the scholarship application portal software provider, Foundant Technologies.

The deadline for applications is March 15 at 12:00 pm (noon).
When will scholarship recipients be announced?
All scholarship decisions will be made by June 30, and all applicants will be notified by letter of the decisions. There is a selection committee, comprised of volunteers, for each scholarship fund. The committee reviews the applications while taking into account the scholarship’s eligibility and selection criteria, such as enrollment at a particular high school, financial need, academic performance, extracurricular activities, community service or other talents.
How do I thank the donor or committee for my scholarship?
Our donors love to hear from students who received their scholarships. To write a thank you note for your scholarship, send your letter to the Community Foundation of Central Georgia and address it to the scholarship fund. Mail your note of thanks to 577 Mulberry Street, Suite 1600 Macon, GA 31201.
